There are many websites where you can download free fonts like dafont, google fonts, etc. When you download fonts maybe it will download as compressed or without compressed with its extension .otf & .ttf.
1. Download font files on the computer. Most of the time font files download as compressed files .zip with many variations such as ultra-thin, thin, regular, bold, and italic.
2. If the font files are compressed as a zip then first unzip it by right-clicking on the .zip font file and clicking on Extract.
